The Chinese New Year Flower Market, is one of the most well-liked festive events. Hundreds of vendors gather together offering a wide range of auspicious flowering plants, such as daffodil, peach blossom and moth orchid. Besides pot plants, traditional local snacks can also be found in the fair, including stinky tofu, curry fish balls and faux shark's fin soup. There are also some stalls selling dry goods related to the zodiac of the year. Visiting to the new year flower markets is definitely a great way to get into the spirit of the festivities.
